A well sheltered beach, especially the east part where never blows the mistral wind. Capriccioli is considered one of the best beaches of Arzachena and the Emerald Coast.

There are four beaches in the Cape of Capriccioli, it is an important natural area full of species of plants and junipers moulded by the wind.

The East side is covered with Mediterranean thicket, lentiscus, rock rose and pine trees and it consists of two beaches divided by huge granite rocks. They are called “twins beaches” and are particularly appreciated either for the fine white sand or for the shallow water, perfect for children.

The crystal clear water has blue and emerald hues, a breath-taking landscape where you can see cormorants and seagulls and plenty of fish and shellfish for those keen on diving and snorkeling.

Just like in any other beaches of the island, it is forbidden to take sand, shells, castanets, starfish or turtles away from their natural habitat. They belong to the natural heritage of Sardinia and Capriccioli.

On the West side there are the little beaches called “of turtles” and “of pirate”overlooking the bay of Cala di Volpe and out of the eastern wind. In the distance you can see the beach of Liscia Ruia where the sand is granitic and thicker.

The beauty of Capriccioli is also due to its location overlooking the isles of Soffi and Camere, which belong to the National Sea Park of the Archipelago of La Maddalena
