Art and Music… waiting for Easter
A weekend full of events in April from 4th to 7th
APRIL, from 4th to 7th – Arzachena offers a busy weekend in the name of Art: a preview of the events scheduled for Easter and Easter Monday.
For those who happen to be in the town of Costa Smeralda in Spring, several events to see on schedule and maybe after a nature hike or a visit to the archaeological sites.
The lovers of watercolour painting cannot miss Davide Siddi’s atelier set up at n° 21 in Piazza Risorgimento, where the painter from Cagliari is carrying out one of the 100 portraits of Alzachinesi (people from Arzachena). A work which will go on till December during the painter’s “residenza artistica”, six-month period living at Arzachena.
It is worth a pop by the theatre to see the performance Palau Palau, which depicts the bitter sweet story of a little Sardinian village turned into a mass tourism destination within a few decades.
ll the Christian religion believers cannot miss the music performance called Chida Santa (Holy Week). It is a music show dedicated to the Holy Week and written in Sardinian language, and precisely the language from Logudoro which tells Christ’s Passion, Death and Resurrection. More than 70 actors, singers and extras performing.
Each event tells about Sardegna, enhancing its history, traditions and landscape through various artistic works.
Free entrance, unless indicated otherwise.
